For a related problem with DCS-to-Siemens communication, made contact with IT. This could provide a contact-person.

Providing a hostname for the Pi was done by making a ticket with OIT, sharing the MAC address with them for the device being configured and stating the port it's plugged into. The name stay with the device and the request for port information is to better understand who it belongs to.
